# How To Remove Silence: Cut Out Parts From Video

Easily remove silent parts from your video with the **Cut Silence** feature. Follow these steps:

1. In the **Editor**, click on **Cut Silence** from the effects list on the right.
2. The tool will automatically **flag all silent parts in red**.
3. Click the button again to **restore the silence if needed**.
